PARENTS BEWARE: An early appreciation of Shakespeare may cause improved literacy, creativity, and self-expression.

Our Junior Youth Theatre Conservatory is a fun-filled three-week program that provides students with the opportunity to build confidence and strengthen their love for the performing arts.

Through their participation students will expand their knowledge in areas such as:

• acting
• performance creation
• voice
• movement
• improvisation
• and more.

How does a play get from the page to the stage? Using an innovative collaborative process, the students will create and rehearse a piece to showcase as a final performance for invited guests.

Classes are held at The Country Day School in their comfortable air-conditioned studios, in King City, Monday to Friday for three weeks, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Their Performing Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art facility boasting a theatre, drama/music classrooms, wardrobe and set construction workshops and a classroom that has been specially designed for technical production instruction.
