BARBARA COTTERCHIO-MILLIGAN
Theatre Ontario Talent Bank Member
Character Development: Building a Life Workshop - 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Barbara has worked as a director and taught professional workshops for many years. The majority of her time and abilities have been spent developing and directing new Canadian works. This workshop was originally conceived for a symposium presented in Scotland. Since that time she has taught it on numerous occasions, with positive feedback from participating students, the last time being at the 2007 Sears Festival. Barbara is a member of Canadian Actors Equity and Theatre Ontario’s Talent bank.

ROBERT GONTIER
Drama Instructor, Lorraine Kimsa Theatre For Young People
Introduction to Acting Workshop - 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Most recently, Robert taught acting, musical theatre and vocal performance at the ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico. He currently sits on the faculties of The Royal Conservatory of Music (LTTA), Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People (LKTYP) and City Dance Corps in Toronto. He has also been a guest instructor at the National Ballet School of Canada, the Town of Newmarket, Resurgence Theatre Company, Spotlight Theatre Company and the Brampton Theatre School.

His newest movement piece Night, Night was part of CDC’s Talent Defined 2007. Upcoming, Robert’s one-man show, Johnny Jackson and His Heavenly Passion, will have its premier presentation in Toronto in March 2008. Robert has also appeared in two films for the Toronto International Film Festival along with theatre productions of Romeo & Juliet, Cabaret, Little Women, Measure for Measure, Cinderella, The Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie and Grease. He is a graduate of Ryerson University’s B.F.A Acting Program, George Brown College’s Dance Program and also attended NYU-Tisch School of the Arts in New York City for Musical Theatre.

ANTHONY LEO
Executive Producer, Aircraft Pictures
Audition Technique Workshop - 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Anthony is the Executive Producer of Aircraft Pictures, an independent film and television production company based in Toronto. Aircraft recently co-produced the television movies Roxy Hunter & the Mystery of the Moody Ghost and Roxy Hunter & the Secret of the Shaman for Nickelodeon/Family Channel with Dolphin Entertainment and has several feature film and television projects in development, among them, The River of Blood, a dramatic feature film based on the true life story of Canadian-Somali hip hop artist K'naan (a Canada/South Africa co-production) and Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil a live action teen series (a co-production with Frantic Films in development with CTV/Space Channel).

Prior to founding Aircraft Pictures, Anthony's most recent credits were acquired with Producer Karen Lee Hall at Heroic Film Company and Water Pictures where he has worked on several film and television projects in development with broadcasters such as CBC, Family Channel and YTV, including the international animated hit Captain Flamingo. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Producer’s Lab, Anthony has produced two short films entitled Squeezebox and Todd & the Book of Pure Evil. In addition, Anthony is the Founding Artistic Producer of Resurgence Theatre Company and has produced over sixteen professional theatre productions, including the Canadian premiere of David Hare’s The Blue Room.

LEE WILSON
Founding Artistic Director/Co-Founder of Resurgence Theatre Company
A Practical Guide To Shakespeare Workshop - 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Most recently, Lee was an Intern Director at the Shaw Festival. In 2004/2005 he was the Resident Director in the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training at the Stratford Festival of Canada. In 2003/2004, Lee was awarded the Urjo Kareda Residency Grant at the Tarragon Theatre to Intern with Richard Rose as a director. In 1998, he was a member of the Inaugural Soulpepper Training Company studying directing, acting, and design with Robin Phillips.

Selected Directing credits include: The Valiant (Director), Arms and the Man, The Magic Fire, Rosmersholm at the Shaw Festival (Assistant Director). Measure for Measure, The Winters Tale, and As You Like It at the Stratford Festival (Assistant Director). Simpl, No Great Mischief, and Remnants at the Tarragon Theatre (Assistant Director). Oleanna with Shadowpath Theatre (Director).
