Tedde Moore Ms. Moore trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, England, and has been a professional actress since 1960. In 2002 she received a Dora Mavor Moore Award (named after her grandmother) for Outstanding Female Lead. Her Genie honoured film work includes the role of Miss Shields in the perennial Christmas favourite, A Christmas Story. She is co-editor, with Lynda Mason Green, of a book of Canadian performers' anecdotes Standing Naked in the Wings. Ms. Moore also teaches acting and stagecraft to actors and opera singers. It is in this capacity that she finds herself invited to share her knowledge and love of Shakespeare while working on text with this exceptional group of artists at Resurgence. She was six years old when she saw her first Shakespearean play in the Stratford Festival tent and her grandmother always told her "All you'll ever need to know about life and human nature you will find in Shakespeare's plays."
