Since 1987 Stephen has performed, mainly overseas, in television and film, and in over thirty-nine stage productions, by writers from Bronte to Yeats, via Shakespeare, Stoppard, Orton and Williams, in genres from the classics to bedroom farce, and in roles from Tom Wingfield to Tom Joad, Prince John to Prince Florizel, Heathcliff to Gatsby, and - good casting - Dopey the Dwarf to Edmund the Bastard. Since returning to Canada his television work has included a recurring role in Traders, PSI Factor, Blue Murder, and the Emmy Award-winning Color of Friendship, and on stage, Mephisto, Wuthering Heights, and The Nelson Mandela Story.
