William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost2003 YORK SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL PLAY

William Shakespeare's
LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST
A comedic romp through romance and young love

Directed by Joseph Ziegler
July 18 to August 30, 2003

The young King of Navarre and his three friends make a vow to deny themselves the company of women for three years in order to devote themselves to study. What they didn’t take into account was the arrival of the young Princess of France, accompanied on her diplomatic mission by a delectable entourage. Wit, romance and love fill the air, putting their vow to the ultimate test.

Set on the shores of beautiful Fairy Lake Park and under the direction of Joseph Ziegler (director of The Stratford Festival's Hamlet and Soulpepper Theatre Company's A Winter's Tale) this production is not to be missed!
